The Ypsilanti Heritage Festival returns to Riverside Park this weekend. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. The event event brings together a punk Elvis tribute band, home and garden tours, beer, a powwow, history lectures, a flea market, puppet shows, blackjack and poker, duck races and more. The Summer Classic Film Series will present "The Jerk" at the Michigan Theater. 1:30 p.m. There will be an encore screening on Tuesday at 7 p.m. Carl Reiner directs Steve Martin in this gag-laden 1979 comedy about an idiotic white man, raised by a poor family of black sharecroppers, who doesn’t realize he’s not black. Once he finds out the truth, he starts a new life the comes to include a crazy invention, a killer, a traveling carnival, romance and riches. General admission: $10. Students, seniors: $8.
