A fire in downtown Milan Wednesday night sent one person to the hospital and displaced a family of six, the Milan News-Leader reported.
Huron Valley Ambulance took the injured man to University of Michigan Hospital, spokeswoman Joyce Williams told the newspaper.
The fire, which heavily damaged the family’s apartment at 29 W. Main St., broke out shortly before 11 p.m. and was under control by about 12:20 a.m., the newspaper reported. About 25 firefighters from area departments, including Milan, Saline and Pittsfield Township, battled the blaze, according to the report.
