While the big winners in the $588 million jackpot Powerball lottery bought their tickets in Missouri and Phoenix, two people bought tickets worth $10,000 at gas stations in Dexter and Scio Township.
The Mugg and Bopps Sunoco station on Baker Road in Dexter sold one ticket, and the Marathon station at 3535 Jackson Road sold the other, the Michigan Lottery reported.
Two tickets sold in Michigan won $1 million. Those were sold at CVS Pharmacy, 13250 Ford Road, Dearborn and East Paris Discount Liquor, 2871 E. Paris SE, in Kentwood.
More than 300,000 Michigan players won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million. You can find a complete list of the locations where the winning tickets were sold on the Michigan Lottery’s website.
As of late Thursday afternoon, the two winners of the $588 million Powerball jackpot had not come forward, media reports indicated.
