From firefighters in Jackson to engineers at the Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor (pictured below), men across the world have skipped their morning routine of shaving the past month.
The equivalent to the use of pink to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer in October, Movember, also known as No Shave November, seeks to do the same for various men's health issues, particularly prostate cancer. Since the launch of the Movember Foundation charity nearly a decade ago, the organization has seen explosive growth in men (and women) joining in the cause.
For some, like Mlive.com's Jason Idalski (pictured right), the final growth may not resemble the hearty groomed mustache of Tom Selleck, but having an excuse to hit the snooze button one more time in the morning and support a good cause at the same time is plenty enough reason to have joined in.Did you grow out your 'stache this month? Send us a photo of it using the photo #A2photo on Instagram and Twitter or using our photo upload form and we'll add it to a gallery here on AnnArbor.com!
