Governor Rick Snyder announced Thursday he is appointing Ann Arbor entrepreneur Michelle Crumm to the Western Michigan University board of trustees.

Since leaving the company, Crumm has remained busy. She is the owner and CEO of Present Value, LLC, an executive coaching company, sits on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations in Ann Arbor, and has been active in the venture capital world through angel investing.
“Michelle and [fellow appointee] Ron [Hall] are outstanding Michiganders and business professionals,” Snyder said in a statement. “I am confident they will do great work on behalf of Western Michigan University.”
Crumm and Hall will serve an eight-year term on the eight-member board which will end in December 2020.
