A recent editorial cartoon depicting two students fighting which appeared in the Dexter High School newspaper, The Squall, has gotten a lot of people wondering if the publication crossed a line, according to an article on the Dexter Patch.
The story said the cartoon showed an Advanced Placement (AP) student and an International Baccalaureate (IB) student fighting, and was alongside an unsigned editorial criticizing the new IB program.
The report said the IB students called the cartoon as well as the editorial forms of bullying. One IB student also stated that since the cartoon ran, some IB students fear coming to school because they think they could be physically assaulted, the Patch reported.
