The countdown to 12-12-12 was exciting for everyone, but for Saline resident Jake Versaum, the day is even more special.
Versaum, born in 2000, is celebrating his 12th birthday Wednesday, according to a story in the Saline Reporter.
The family has been counting down the 12 days to his birthday with different surprises, including six $1 bills, and five bananas for the five golden rings in the Twelve Days of Christmas song, the newspaper reported.
