Washtenaw Community College is looking for a new vice president of administration and finance.
WCC's former finance chief Steven Hardy resigned on Nov. 19.
He had worked at WCC since 2001, when he was hired as the school's financial controller. In 2008, Hardy was promoted to vice president.
Hardy, of Ann Arbor, earned $135,000. He left the college to "to pursue other opportunities," said the school's media representative Janet Hawkins. Hardy has an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.
WCC plans to post the position soon. After a regional search, a committee of administrators hopes to fill the vacancy in early 2013.
