The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is investigating three separate break-ins that occurred in Lodi, Superior and Ypsilanti townships Tuesday.
Deputies were dispatched to the 5600 block of Blue Grass Lane in Lodi Township for the report of a burglary of a detached garage that had occurred the night before between 9 and 11 p.m., according to a news release. The victim said he left his garage door open and when he came out to close it around 11 p.m. he discovered a large framing nailer was gone.
That same day, a Wii video game system, video games, DVDs and credit cards were reported stolen from a home in the 1600 block of Crab Apple in Superior Township. Police believe the suspect or suspects cut the screen of an unlocked window to get inside.
A Wii video game system and video games also were reported stolen from a home in the 9500 block of Lakeside Drive in Ypsilanti Township. A flat screen TV, laptop computer, cash and jewelry were taken. The break-in happened during daytime hours, according to police. The suspect or suspects forced open the front door.
There are no suspects at this time in any of the incidents.
