A semi truck has gone over the embankment near the east triple-decker intersection of M-14 and U.S. 23, causing a traffic backup, while emergency responders make their way to the scene.
Dispatchers confirmed the truck went down the embankment just after noon on Friday. There were no injuries to report, and dispatchers were not sure if any lanes were blocked due to the accident.
The roads in the area are starting to get icy and it’s believed the road conditions played a role in the semi truck going off the road, the dispatcher said. A winter weather advisory is in effect until midnight.
The Michigan State Police were responding to the accident, along with local fire departments.
The east triple decker intersection of M-14 and U.S. 23 is the interchange of the two highways nearest to Domino's Farms.
There were few other details available on the crash Friday afternoon. AnnArbor.com will continue to follow this story.
