A laptop and Nook tablet were stolen from an Ypsilanti Township home during a home invasion reported Friday, according to Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
The break-in occurred sometime during the day on Friday at a home in the 1800 block of Smith and an unknown intruder — or intruders — entered the home through a small bathroom window. Deputies said the laptop and Nook were the only items stolen from the home.
Before the home invasion was over, the suspect — or suspects — smashed a large sliding glass door, deputies said.
There was no suspect information released by deputies Monday. Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
