New Dexter Daze committee chairman Thomas Paup has made the decision to revamp the annual Dexter Daze event for the 2013 run, according to a story in the Dexter Leader.

The report said he actively is looking for input from as many community members as possible to help the festival evolve in to something fresh.
One change that already has been decided is closing off Jeffords Street along the newly built Mill Creek Park so the event can span across the downtown area, which will provide more room entertainment and vendors. It also will make the park a part of the landscape.
