The automaker was granted permission by the city of Saline to use industrial facilities tax incentives originally granted to ACH, according to a report from the Saline Reporter, to overhaul parts of the factory that manufactures a number of interior parts for Ford vehicles.
According to the Concentrate report, the redesign is intended to make the plant, one of four new Faurecia locations in Southeast Michigan, more streamlined. It also will include cosmetic upgrades for a brighter work atmosphere.
