Michigan Radio and the Center for Michigan will host a right-to-work discussion at Corner Brewery this evening featuring State Rep. Gretchen Driskell, D-Saline, and other panelists.
Journalist Jack Lessenberry will lead the discussion entitled "Issues and Ale" about how the recently passed legislation will impact the Michigan economy and labor force. Gov. Rick Snyder signed the legislation into law Dec.11.
Panelists will include:
Kristin Dziczek- Director, Labor & Industry Group, Center for Automotive Research
Gretchen Driskell — State Representative for Michigan's 52nd District
John J.H. "Joe" Schwarz — Former Michigan Congressman
Vincent Vernuccio — Director of Labor Policy, The Mackinac Center for Public Policy
The event is free and open to public and takes place from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at the Corner Brewery, located at 720 Norris St., in Ypsilanti.
