An Ann Arbor woman reading on her porch Thursday morning got an eyeful of a man who was running between houses with his pants down holding his genitals.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the woman was reading at 9 a.m. Thursday at her home in the 500 block of Benjamin Street when a man suddenly appeared between her home and the one next door. The woman told police the man had his sweatpants down and appeared to be fondling himself.
The woman was surprised and the man appeared to be startled when he saw her, Bush said. After noticing the woman, the man went back between the houses and fled the area.
The man is described as black, 5-feet-9 inches to 5-feet-11 inches tall, 150 pounds, short afro, muscular but thin, wearing black sweatpants and a black backpack.
Bush said the description of a man is similar to that of a man who attempted to break into a home in the 100 block of Packard Street earlier on Thursday. The investigation into both incidents continues.
Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800 SPEAK UP (773-2587).
