More snow likely in Ann Arbor after 4-inch accumulation Monday

About 4 inches of snow fell in the Ann Arbor area Monday, according to the National Weather Service, and a couple of more inches could be added to that total Tuesday.

Ann Arbor residents are likely to find cars left outside covered with snow later today.

The National Weather Service says snow showers are likely, mainly after 1 p.m. Forecasters say there’s a 90 percent chance of snow and an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches is expected.

Forecasters predict a high of 28 degrees, 5 degrees warmer than Monday’s high of 23.

More snow showers are likely Tuesday night, but less than half an inch of accumulation is expected. The low will drop to about 13.

Wednesday will bring a mostly sunny day with a high near 25.

Thursday will be warmer with a high of 35. There’s also a 40 percent chance of snow showers after 1 p.m.

Friday will be partly sunny with a high of 31.
