Two men got into a fistfight in Ann Arbor early Monday morning because one told the other to leave a residence because he drank too much, police said.
Officers were called to both University of Michigan and St. Joseph's hospitals at 1:21 a.m. for the two assault victims, a 34-year-old man and a 31-year-old man, both of Ann Arbor, according to Lt. Renee Bush. Investigators discovered the two men had been in a fistfight outside a residence in the 2300 block of Jonathan Court.
The argument began over one individual telling the other to leave because he had drank too much," Bush stated in a release. "The argument escalated to a fistfight in the parking lot."
The men were treated at the hospitals. Police did not provide information detailing which man was at which hospital, the extent of the injuries or if either men were charged.
