Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to multiple home invasions in Superior Township and Ypsilanti Township so far this week, including an incident where items were stolen after a sliding glass door was smashed.
According to deputies, the home in the 4600 block of Gotfredson Road was broken into sometime during the day Tuesday. After smashing the sliding glass door, the intruder, or intruders, stole a TV, laptop, jewelry and golf clubs.
Deputies also are investigating two break-ins in Ypsilanti Township reported on Saturday and Sunday.
A home reportedly was broken into in the 1300 block of Nash Avenue during the afternoon Saturday. Deputies said someone entered the home through a basement window and stole a Nintendo Wii.
On Sunday, a daytime home invasion was reported in the 800 block of Desoto Avenue. The rear door to the home was kicked in and a purse, numerous watches, cash and rings were reported stolen.
There are no suspects in any of the incidents and deputies continue to investigate.
