Thieves smashed or removed glass panels to break in to two Ann Arbor homes earlier this week, Ann Arbor police said.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said someone broke out a window and entered a home in the 1800 block of Lindsay Lane between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The intruder or intruders took a camera, camera equipment, credit card, backpack, bike and cash from the home, Bush said.
On Wednesday, a 22-year-old Ann Arbor woman reported coming home at 7:52 p.m. to her house in the 300 block of South Division Street to find a glass panel missing in the door.
Bush said gift cards and cash were missing from the home.
No information about suspects in either home invasion was available Thursday morning.
The two home invasions described by police Thursday come on the heels of three break-ins at city residences reported Monday.
Anyone with information on these two incidents is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
