The University of MIchigan Department of Public Safety reports four arrests Saturday during the Wolverines' game against Illinois in Ann Arbor.
Of those arrests, two were for resisting & obstructing a police officer, 1 for minor in possession of alcohol and 1 for possession of suspected marijuana.
Among other issues handled by DPS at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, according to spokesperson Diane Brown, there were:
- 3 citations: all for alcohol in the stadium.
- 14 additional ejections: 6 for alcohol in the stadium, 4 for violation of the stadium rules, 3 for disorderly conduct, 1 for unauthorized entry onto the field.
The explanation for the unauthorized entry onto the field: "A drunk visitor jumped the wall at the end of the first half."
The announced attendance was 110,922.
Emergency medical personnel provided assistance to 34 subjects, of whom 5 were taken to the hospital.
