Ah, Cinco de Mayo, the celebration to commemorate the Mexican army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla. A day to celebrate Mexican heritage. They will have live music by Tumbao Bravo and Los Gatos, a Flamenco dancing exhibition and Mezcal worms available to be eaten by the brave—or the very drunk. Liberty Street will be closed between Division and Thompson streets.Michigan's own New Holland Brewery will be taking over the taps, and other other specialty craft beers will be available. There will also be $5 tequila flights.
