The meeting will be an update on the study’s progress as well as an overview of potential location-specific stormwater management alternatives to deal with ongoing flooding problems in Upper Malletts Creek neighborhoods.
The study began in February in order to identify problems with stormwater drainage and develop solutions to decrease risk and severity of future floods in the area.
Residents will be presented with possible stormwater detention sites, possible green stormwater management solutions, and areas where storm sewer improvements may be needed.
Feedback from residents will be used by the engineering team to develop seven stormwater management alternatives, which will be ready for the next public meeting in July.
