Three home invasions reported Sunday in Ypsilanti Township are under investigation by Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office deputies, who are looking for suspect information.
The first reported home invasion took place between midnight and 3 a.m. Sunday in the 2800 block of Bynan Drive. The home was entered through an unlocked window and the intruder took cash and a laptop before fleeing the area.
A second overnight home invasion was reported Sunday in the 1000 block of Janet Avenue. A rear door to the home was forced open, and intruders ransacked the residence. An iPod and a Wii video game system were reported stolen, deputies said.
The final home invasion occurred during the daytime Sunday in the 600 block of Villa Drive. An unlocked window was the point of entry, and an Xbox game system, two computers and a cellphone were reported stolen.
Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Geoffrey Fox said Tuesday no connection has been found between the three home invasions, adding that the locations are pretty spread out. The investigation continues.
No suspect description was available for any of the three incidents.
