Three people were arrested and one escaped Friday after leading police on a high-speed chase in a reportedly stolen car, according to a Saline Reporter story.
According to the report, the vehicle had been reported stolen from Adrian and Clinton Township police officers stopped it just outside the city. The driver of the vehicle then took off during the traffic stop toward Saline, reaching speeds of 110 miles per hour.
The chase eventually ended when the vehicle crashed into a tree near South Harris Street and Pleasant Ridge Drive. Two of the vehicle’s occupants were taken to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, one was in police custody and police are searching for the other occupant, according to the report.
