Police said a business in the 500 block of West Cross Street had a window broken in a door to the building between 4 a.m. and 11 a.m. Monday during an attempted break-in. The business was not entered and nothing was taken.
Investigators declined to name the businesses, citing department policy. Police were not prepared Tuesday morning to say the incidents were definitely related.
The investigation into the break-in and the attempted break-in continues. Anyone with information on the incidents is encouraged to call the Ypsilanti police at 734-483-9510.
