School officials said the girl entered the street at about 4:45 p.m. in the designated crosswalk area after one car had stopped. Another car, coming up alongside the stopped car, kept driving, according to reports.
School officials said police and EMS responded and transported the student to the hospital. The student is now home recovering and doing OK.
Police with the Ann Arbor Police Department told AnnArbor.com Tuesday there was no record of officers being called to the school Friday.
