U-M gameday police stats: 9 arrests, 39 ejections from Michigan Stadium

The University of MIchigan Department of Public Safety reported nine arrests Saturday during the Wolverines' game against Iowa in Ann Arbor.

Of those arrests four were for minor in possession of alcohol, three were for violation of possession of suspected drugs, and two were for resisting and obstructing a police officer.

Among other issues handled by DPS at Michigan Stadium on Saturday, according to spokesperson Diane Brown, there were:

  • 1 arrest, but the person was released pending warrant authorization for violation of the controlled substance act;
  • 4 citations, all for alcohol in the stadium;
  • An additional 39 ejections: 15 for alcohol in the stadium, 12 for possessing someone else’s ID, seven for violating stadium rules, three for disorderly conduct, one for unlawful entry and one for urinating in public.
Emergency medical personnel treated 68 people, with eight of them transported to the hospital.

Announced attendance: 113, 016.
