The third edition of the BRAve Men of Dexter fundraising calendar, featuring local businessmen and leaders posing in bras, is on sale in local stores. The founders of the calendar decided to branch out into surrounding towns and cities for the 2013 calendar.

The founders are very secretive about who’s in the calendars when they first come out, hoping that the mystery will help drive sales.
The calendars cost $20, and Christian and co-founder June Mann raise money to cover the cost of printing and putting the calendars into plastic sleeves. There are no pictures of the models on the outside of the calendar, so to see what’s inside you have to pay up.
While she would not reveal who any of this year’s models are, Christian did say that three trainers from Ann Arbor’s Applied Fitness Solutions posed for a shoot.
The calendar raises money for the American Cancer Society, and Christian said last year’s sales raised $7,000 for the non-profit organization. Now in its third year, the calendar in the past has featured Dexter Village president Shawn Keough and W4 Country (WWWW 102.9-FM) host Brian “Bubba” Cowan.
Calendars can be purchased at Applied Fitness Solutions, Dexter Pharmacy, Dexter Bakery, Country Market, LaFontaine Chevrolet, Busch's Fresh Food Market, and the Zukey Lake Tavern.
