An 88 year-old Ann Arbor resident was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure Sunday after veering off the road and nearly striking an apartment building on the city’s west side.
Authorities believe a medical condition caused the man to swerve off the road around 8:30 a.m. Sunday on West Stadium Boulevard near Franklin. No injuries were reported.
The accident caused damage to a pole, two trees and the man’s vehicle, police Sgt. Matt Lige said.
