The Ypsilanti Downtown Development Authority Executive Director Tim Colbeck will receive a one-time payment following a favorable annual performance review.

The DDA Board of Directors decided to pay Colbeck $2,500 after Governance and Finance Committee member Ruth Ann Jamnick moved to submit a resolution. The resolution was passed unanimously by the board in July.
The resolution states that over the last two years, Colbeck's leadership has led to better internal processes for the organization, successful program implementation and increased awareness of the Ypsilanti DDA.
Since his hiring in 2010, Colbeck has not received a pay raise or any other financial incentive. The DDA approved his hiring May 20, 2010 with a salary of $55,280 plus benefits.
Colbeck began as director June 21, 2010. Prior to becoming the Ypsilanti DDA director, he was the director of the Highland DDA. Colbeck is a 1991 Eastern Michigan University graduate and he received his master’s degree in urban planning from Wayne State University.
The payment will be earmarked from the permanent wages salary line of the fiscal year 2012-13 budget, where there is an availability of funds.
