If you own a charismatic dog that you adopted from the Humane Society of Huron Valley, consider him or her a potential candidate for "celebrity spokesdog."

Walk & Wag is the Humane Society of Huron Valley's largest annual fundraiser and features dog games and contests and a 5 kilometer run. It will take place this year at Rolling Hills Park in Ypsilanti.
The spokesdog will be the goodwill ambassador for the event, and will have his or her likeness on posters, brochures, newsletters and on the organization's website.
To get your dog into the competition for celebrity spokesdog, submit a photo and short essay on his or her merits. The deadline is Jan. 31. Email it to joyj@hshv.org. For more information, call 734-661-3536.
