Lisa Waud of Pot & Box, located at 220 Felch St., is opening a flower shop in a long-vacant gas station on the corner of Michigan and 17th streets in Detroit. The expansion comes three years after Waud moved into the 900-square-foot space on Felch Street.
Waud and building landlord Andy Didorosi are planning a major renovation for the Detroit property, which will result in a flower shop with outdoor green space and a parking lot for events. First on the agenda: a Valentines Day market event with vendors from across Detroit.
Waud is hoping to officially open the flower shop near the end of the year, the report says.
