The office is home to eight news sources covering Washtenaw County including the Ann Arbor Journal, Ypsilanti Courier, Saline Reporter, Dexter Leader, and Chelsea Standard. Michelle Rogers, the managing editor for all eight publications, declined to speak with AnnArbor.com about the listing.

The sale follows bankruptcy filings by the parent Journal Register Company in September 2012. It was the second time the Journal Register filed for bankruptcy in three years. The Journal Register Company is owned by Digital First Media, a New York-based firm that also owns the Detroit News.

The 4,637-square-foot building is listed for $275,000. The building also is listed for lease at $45,896 per-year. According to county records, the building was assessed at a taxable value of $96,187 in 2012 meaning its approximate assessed market value is slightly under $200,000.
