Ann Arbor police are looking for a man who broke into the screened-in back porch of a woman’s home early Saturday morning.
Detective Lt. Robert Pfannes said someone rang the door bell at 2 a.m. Saturday at a home in the 400 block of South Fourth Avenue. The woman took a few minutes to walk downstairs in order to answer the door.
Pfannes said the woman entered her kitchen and saw a man in the screened-in back porch going through items. The man looked up, saw the woman and ran away from the area.
The man is described as black, in his mid 30s, 5-feet-8 inches tall, medium build, wearing an “expensive looking” three-quarters length black parka with the hood up, Pfannes said.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
