Kwiatkowski is a Canton native and graduated from Plymouth Canton High School in 1998, according to the report. He was a catcher on the school’s varsity baseball team, and was captain his senior year.
“He was a good, solid kid,” said Scott Dickey, a former high school baseball coach of Kwiatkowski, to the Detroit News.
After graduating from Madonna University in 2005, Kwiatkowski worked at a number of Michigan health care facilities, including the University of Michigan Health System.
UMHS launched investigations after vials of narcotics were stolen on three separate occasions during the three months Kwiatkowski worked in the interventional radiology department, according to the report.
