A purse containing cash and other items was stolen late Monday night from an unlocked car in Scio Township, according to the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office.
A woman was visiting her mother between 11 p.m. Monday and midnight Tuesday in the 3000 block of Walnut Ridge Drive, according to deputies. After spending about 45 minutes with her mother, the woman went back to her car and discovered the purse was missing.
Nothing else was taken from inside the car and police do not have any suspect information to release.
