An 18-year-old Ann Arbor man pulled a knife on a 17-year-old Ypsilanti boy and was arrested by Ann Arbor police early Saturday morning, investigators said Monday.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the Ann Arbor man told the boy he was going to fight him before tracking him down just before 11 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of South University Avenue. Bush said the Ann Arbor man brandished a knife during a confrontation.
The confrontation between the two individuals started on Facebook, Bush said.
Bush said police identified the Ann Arbor man and arrested him at approximately 12:53 a.m. Saturday.
No one involved in the incident reported any injuries. Police did not release the Ann Arbor man’s name Monday morning.
