Former Ann Arbor Police Chief Barnett Jones, now working as head of security for the Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, is supervising a former business associate working in a newly created position, the Detroit Free Press reported.
The information comes from documents obtained by the Free Press.
Until January, Jones had also been working as administrator of public safety in Flint. Jones resigned from that job after the Free Press asked questions about his holding two full-time jobs.
In February, an Mlive report revealed that Jones reported he worked eight hours in Detroit on each of three days he spent at a conference he spent in northern Michigan as part of his Flint job.
In Detroit, Jones works for Sue McCormick, former Ann Arbor public services administrator.
