Police investigated two separate home invasions reported in Superior and York townships on Friday, according to a release from the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office.
At 2:20 p.m. p.m., deputies were called to a home in the 8300 block of Geddes Road in Superior Township after a victim saw an unfamiliar silver sedan pulling out of her driveway. Police said suspects forced open a door in the garage to get inside. It was not immediately clear what, if anything, was stolen.
On the same day, police were called to a reported break-in at a residence in the 12000 block of Saline-Milan Road in York Township. A sliding glass door was smashed and intruders entered the house at some point during the day.
Cash, jewelry and a computer were stolen.
Police continue to investigate.
