The family of a young University of Michigan fan who lived in Crimson Tide country has asked friends and family members to honor him by wearing the maize and blue to the 16-year-old’s funeral, The Detroit News reports.
Nick Hill had hoped to watch the Michigan basketball team play in the final four. He died in a car crash Saturday.

Hill, who lived in Ann Arbor for three years and was treated at the University of Michigan Hospital for a serious neurological disorder, had been looking forward to watching the Wolverines play in the Final Four, his mother told the newspaper.
