Four cars had their tires slashed in the 2400 block of Yorkshire Road of Ann Arbor over the weekend, police report.

The vandalism was discovered around 7 a.m. Saturday morning, said Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush.

They are believed to be related, given the close proximity of the vehicles, Bush said. Two of the vehicles were owned by the same victim.

Police do not have a suspect, Bush said, but they continue to investigate.

Officials are also looking into an earlier case of tire slashing. A report for one car with all four tires slashed in the 2200 block of Fuller Court was taken at 8:15 a.m. Friday. A vehicle was parked overnight and the owner found all four tires slashed the next morning, according to a news release.

Anyone with information about these incidents is encouraged to call the Ann Arbor police anonymous tip line at 734-794-6939 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
