Phone and cable lines to an Ypsilanti Township Verizon store were cut before a break-in that was reported Monday, sheriff's deputies said.

Investigators said the break-in happened during the overnight hours at the store, 2044 Whittaker Road, and was reported Monday. It appeared the intruder cut phone and cable lines going into the store and then forced open a rear door in order to enter the building.

Deputies were not sure what had been stolen from the store as of Tuesday, but the investigation is on going. Investigators did not have any suspect information to release Tuesday.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 734-973-7711 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP (773-2587).
