A thief or thieves stole jewelry from an Ypsilanti Township home sometime Tuesday morning after breaking into the home through the front door, Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies said.
Deputies went to the 7000 block of Oakridge to investigate the home invasion, which occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and noon Tuesday.
The home was ransacked and jewelry was reported missing, investigators said. No dollar estimate of the value of the jewelry was provided.
