Area police are investigating home invasions that were reported Thursday but took place while residents were away for the holidays.
Ann Arbor police reported one home broken into, while two more had items stolen from them in Ypsilanti.
Ann Arbor police Lt. Renee Bush said the 21-year-old woman returned at 10:14 p.m. Thursday to her home in the 500 block of Elizabeth Street. An unknown person, or persons, forced the front door to the home open, Bush said.
The woman left home on Dec. 19 and it’s undetermined when the home invasion took place, Bush said.
Stolen items include an Xbox 360, and seven or eight Xbox games and PlayStation 2 games, Bush said. There was no suspect information to release Friday.
